Bunny Bands: The Tropical Solution to Tropical Hair
Bunny Bands is more than just a head accessory; it’s a wonderful solution to the common challenges of living in or visiting the tropics.
Owner Lindy Loo discovered this game-changing product herself when a lady gifted her a handmade hairband during a 12-hour shift at a music festival.
It solved all of her hair problems – frizz, wind, and bad hair days – with comfort and practicality.
After wearing the bands for six years, Lindy Loo teamed up with a sewer friend to create her own versions.
Together, they make the “Bunny Bands”, designing the fabric options to be completely unique.
Lindy Loo does not sell online, choosing to focus on the personal market experience.
Lindy Loo’s inspiration for the product’s design comes directly from her lifetime of living in the tropics.
Dealing with humidity and stepping out of the ocean, she needed a practical product that works—the cotton keeps your head cool and lifts the hair off your neck.
It is a complete necessary tourist/holiday/tropical living or visiting personal care product.
Beyond the product, the market provides an even deeper sense of community.
Lindy Loo cherishes the network of people helping and supporting each other, from new mums to retired people.
Her product has also been a source of confidence and support for women undergoing cancer and life challenges.
Like any product sold in Airlie Beach, the bands travel to many different parts of the world, stamped with the customer’s unique Whitsundays experience.
